A bit of history.
Invented in 1889 in honor of Queen Margherita of Savoy (Italy), while she was visiting Napoli, it displays the same colors of the Italian flag thanks to its amazing ingredients:
Italian Organic tomato sauce, fresh Mozzarella fiordilatte, aged Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, Extra virgin olive-oil and basil.
Since then, Pizza Margherita is known as “the queen of pizza”, and it became the most iconic and classic choice in Italian pizzerias and by far the best seller of all Vegetarian Pizzas.
Like with every Ridelli Pizza, we fully respect authenticity and tradition: each pizza Margherita is handmade using only the highest quality ingredients, and it is baked in a wood-fired oven by our Pizzaioli in Napoli.
